InterContinental London – The O2 *****
🎢 A spectacular staycation, literally connected to the O2 Arena. Behind its anonymous façade, this 5-star hotel knows how to impress. The spa goes big: 17m indoor pool, hot tub, sauna, steam room, ice fountain and treatment rooms. On the 18th floor, the Skybar serves up cocktails and a wide-screen panoramic view of Canary Wharf. Rooms are spacious, quiet and filled with natural light, with king size beds and floor-to-ceiling windows. As for atmospheres, several ways to disconnect: The Clipper Bar with its nautical decor, boat-shaped counter and views over the Thames. Kinaara for well-executed Indian cuisine and a spiced-up Afternoon Tea. And on the first floor, The Market Brasserie for Mediterranean menus at any time and the next morning’s breakfast.
⭐️ The highlight: the head mixologist was named one of the top 100 World Class bartenders.
Si je pouvais je mettrai six étoiles pour le petit déjeuner. Très large choix, toute est bonne, le personnel est très attentionné. La vue de la chambre était spectaculaire. La piscine est très agréable, rien à redire.
Only downside was we couldn’t redeem our complimentary drinks the next day because the bar didn’t open until 5pm, would’ve appreciated a little flexibility considering it was part of the stay and a birthday treat. Overall though, such a lovely experi
